It is often difficult to know where to go next in life. We ask our young people to make huge decisions about their future at a young age. An age where many young people are unaware of what they want and an age where communication between parents and their children can be strained. Weighing the wants and desires of each party can feel like an impossible task.

Then you become a professional, and life feels as confusing as ever. Where do I go, how do I switch jobs or even entire careers, how do I excel to the next level in my chosen field, or even more pedestrian, I went to school for years and feel like I have no idea what I am doing, and I am scared.

These are common questions for many people, questions, each of which, I struggled with myself over a very long educational career to the doctorate level, and into my professional career as a lawyer.
